Is there a fee to list?

There is no fee to list your property at this time.

How do I claim a property or service already on the map?

Email us a support@equinebooking.com our parent company and we will be happy to update your listing.

How do I become a host?

Creating an account is easy. If you own a horse property with safe and secure stalls and fencing you are well on your way. Barns listed come in all shapes and sizes. We do recommend you ensure your insurance policy covers the use of your home as a business the hosts horses. Generally speaking you will need insurance that covers Equine Care (Custody and Control insurance)

How do i manage my schedule?

Once you create your listings with their calendars you manage everything in your inbox. You can update your listings calendar at any time. And you can block days or change your availability online. How do I add a new horse experience

When creating a listing you’ll be prompted to select a type from the drop down. Horse Experiences, Horse Stays, or Horse & Human Stays. Each type comes with the option to have booking. If you chose to add booking later email as and we will assist you in making the change. Our email is support@equinebooking.com

Do I have to enable booking functionality to list on your site?

No you do not have to use the booking to list on our site. We do however think you’d see the value and customers enjoy the convenience of booking online. Given 80% of horse travelers seeking experiences and accommodations by mobile our easy to use mobile friendly site is a bonus for customers.

When is the customer changed and when to service providers get paid?

A charge is placed on the customer’s card when they submit the booking request. The charge can be held for up to 6 days before the request expires and the booking request is automatically cancelled. If the property or equine booking cancels the request, the charge is cancelled.

When the request is accepted, the charge is captured and money moved to the Stripe account. The platform’s commission fee is transferred to Equine Booking. The remaining balance for the property owners are held for payout after the stay.

The property owners earnings are held by Stripe (not us) until they are paid out or refunded.

Property owners are paid out their funds when the transaction is marked completed. A transaction can be marked completed in multiple different ways. Customers can mark a transaction completed from their Inbox. Equine Booking can mark a transaction completed. Or, the system will automatically mark a transaction completed 48 hours after the booking period ends. When a transaction is marked completed, the marketplace initiates a payout in Stripe to the property owners bank account as entered in their profile.

This practice is typical of most rental platforms such as Airbnb.

Horse reservations was founded by two sisters who, driven by their deep love for horses, were always on the lookout for new adventures with their equine companions.Despite living in different parts of the country, Christy and Brandy maintained a close bond through their passion for riding and caring for horses. Over the years, they realized that many equestrians, like themselves, were looking for a community where they could find trusted services and share their experiences with others who understand the unique joys of the equestrian lifestyle.

As they raised their own families, they found joy in teaching their children to ride, passing down the knowledge and love for horses that had been such an integral part of their own lives. Over the years, they realized that many equestrians, like themselves, were looking for a community where they could find trusted services and share their experiences with others who understand the unique joys of the equestrian lifestyle.

Determined to create something meaningful, they founded Equine Booking as a way to bring horse lovers together. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a thriving platform where riders from all walks of life could connect, find resources, and support each other in their equestrian adventures.

Christy lives in NY and has over 40 years of riding experience and currently trail rides her Quarter Horse Lincoln, while keeping up with her kids who ride Icelandic horses!

Brandy Skylling

Brandy lives in Park City, Utah, enjoys trail rides in the mountains, and learning the ancient and noble skill of horsemanship. She currently enjoys her OTTB Elsa and dabbling in Eventing in area IX.
