Shenandoah Sporthorses is a boutique-style equestrian business in Lexington, Virginia. We offer a variety of services to support busy equestrians, including boarding, layovers, horse transport, PEMF therapy, sales consulting services, and quality horses and ponies for sale.
SHENANDOAH SPORTHORSES OFFERS SHORT-TERM BOARDING FOR PEOPLE TRAVELING WITH HORSES OR SHOWING AT THE HORSE CENTER.
We have 3 roomy stalls available for overnight or short-term stays. Horses enjoy private turnout, while humans enjoy a cozy studio apartment on the same property, with breakfast (and lots of coffee!) included.
The apartment is professionally decorated, offering high-quality linens and art by local artists. Bedded stalls are $45/night, and the apartment is $125/night, with multiple horse or extended stay discounts available.
We usually have a wonderful selection of foxhunters, trail horses, show hunters, ponies, dressage and eventing horses to choose from. We love matching amateur and junior riders with safe, fun and talented equine partners.
If we don’t have the right horse for you on our farm, we offer a horse shopping service to use our extensive network and expertise to find your perfect match. If you are selling your horse, we can help with that too, and offer a variety of packages designed to meet your sales goals.
